How we met

His Version:
Way back in the day, we were in the same 5th grade class. Of course, back then, boys were allergic to girls and girls were allergic to boys, so not much came out that.  I do remember that she broke her arm that year.  Fast forward to me wandering Facebook doing the 'add friends' thing, and as I was browsing through the Lassiter class of 2000 (many of which went to elementary school with me), I saw a cute girl that I figured I'd poke to see if she remembered me. So as you could probably imagine, one thing leads to another, and it has all fallen into place rather beautifully!

Her Version:
David and I first met in 5th grade when we were both in Ms. Cochran’s class.  Honestly, I don’t remember too much about him except that he was quiet and had glasses.  I vaguely remember seeing him at Baskin Robbins several years later, when Katie and I would walk up for ice cream during team trivia at O’Shaughnessy’s.  After that, he pretty much disappeared for about a decade or so.  Then out of the blue, I noticed something different when I logged on to Facebook one day.  Someone named David Schroth poked me!  I was amazed that he even remembered who I was.  Well, what do you do when someone randomly pokes you?  You poke them back!  So that’s what I did.  Soon after that, I had a message in my Facebook inbox, and before long David and I were spending hours chatting online (when I was supposed to be studying for Step 1 of the boards).  After a couple of weeks, we had our first phone conversation and set up our first get together—dinner and chick flicks at David’s place.  I wasn’t quite sure if it was a date at first, but then he opened the car door for me (what a gentleman!).  We hit it off that night and the rest is history :)
